Christopher was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 1997. After admission to the Bar, he served as a law clerk to The Honorable James W. Johnson.

Christopher was Assistant Solicitor for the Eleventh Judicial Circuit from October 1998 until January 2001. During that time, he served as prosecutor in numerous jury trials.

Christopher completed training in the District Attorneys Association's Trial Advocacy I program. He is a member of both the Solicitor and District Attorney Associations of South Carolina and the South Carolina Law Enforcement Officer's Association.

Christopher is a former University of South Carolina Scholar Athlete and a member of the All-Academic Southeastern Conference Baseball Team of 1992. He grew up in Reading, Pennsylvania.
