Mr. Bowers comes to Nexsen Pruet from Young Clement Rivers & Tisdale, LLP where he was a former Managing Partner and one of the firm's litigation attorneys. Mr. Bowers practice includes Products Liability Law and Toxic Tort Litigation.

Mr. Bowers is a graduate of the University of South Carolina, where he earned his undergraduate degree and his Juris Doctor. Upon admittance to the South Carolina Bar, Mr. Bowers served as Staff Attorney and Assistant Attorney General for the State of South Carolina for the Litigation Section.

Mr. Bowers has been actively involved with the South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys Association, including serving as President. He is a member of the International Association of Defense Counsel and the Defense Research Institute. For both groups, Mr. Bowers serves on the Products Liability, Toxic Tort, and Drug, Device and Biotechnology committees. Mr. Bowers is also a member of the Products Liability Advisory Council. Among his other professional memberships are the American Bar Association, the Charleston County Bar and the South Carolina Bar. Mr. Bowers is rated AV by Martindale-Hubbell.
