Nancy focuses her practice on employment and labor law, ERISA and Longshore work. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar, the Washington, D.C. Bar and the South Carolina Bar and is a certified mediator and arbitrator. Prior to joining the firm in 1998, Nancy was the Deputy County Attorney for Charleston County. Nancy currently serves as Vice President of the Federal Bar Association's Fourth Judicial Circuit, a Board member of the Employment Law Section of the Federal Bar Association, Chairperson of the City of Charleston Election Commission and Chairperson of the Coastal Community Foundation Heirs Property Project. She held the office of president of the South Carolina Association of County Attorneys from 1994-1995, and has received National Association of Counties Achievement Awards. Besides the Federal Bar Association, she is a member of the American Bar Association, South Carolina Bar, South Carolina Women's Lawyers Association, and Charleston County Bar Association. Nancy graduated from Georgetown University in 1975 and received her law degree in 1983 from the Catholic University School of Law, where she was an Associate Editor of Law Review.
