Ms. Ankney graduated cum laude with a BA from the University of South Carolina in 1996 where she attended the South Carolina Honors College and was a member of the Mortar Board and Omicron Delta Kappa. She received her Juris Doctorate from The University of South Carolina School of Law in 1999, where she was a member of  the Legislative Council and the Student Bar Administration. She was formerly an Assistant Solicitor for the Fifth Judicial Circuit. She is currently a member of the Charleston County Bar, The Charleston Lawyers Club, the American Bar Association, South Carolina Defense Trial Attorneys' Association, South Carolina Workers' Compensation Educational Association, and the South Carolina Bar. Her area of practice focuses on workers' compensation defense.
